About the Programme

Research and Development centre is one of the Research programs run by Department of Mechanical Engineering. The program is approved by AICTE, Government of Karnataka and is affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University, Karnataka. Research and development is about creating, designing, and improving products and services. Research and development in mechanical engineering comprises several major areas such as Development of Composite materials using Casting and Powder metallurgy techniques for Aerospace and Automobile applications, Bio-fuel development using major equipment’s for sustainable development of fuels for today’s energy crisis.
