About the Programme

The Research and Development centre is one of the Research programs run by the Department of Mathematics. The program is approved by AICTE, Government of Karnataka and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka. Research and development (R&D) is a systematic approach to innovation that combines scientific inquiry with practical application to create new products, processes, or technologies that address current challenges and improve quality of life. Research center play an important role in scientific advancement, contributing to both fundamental research and applied science. The center also focuses on wide range of topics Graph Theory, Fluid Dynamics and Agriculture Graph Theory, algebra, combinatorics, geometry, topology, analysis and partial differential equations, applied analysis, mathematical biology, mathematical finance, numerical analysis, and scientific ... The center fosters interdisciplinary projects to tackle real-world challenges.

Eligibility

Candidates who have acquired M.Sc in Applied Mathematics/Discrete Mathematics/Number Theory/Physical/Analytical Geometry/ topology/ analysis/partial differential equations/ applied analysis can register for Ph.D. The admissions are through central counselling on the basis of merit in VTU- Ph.D. entrance or GATE.
