The Department of Computer Science and Engineering started a Ph.D. Programme under VTU in the year 2023. The Institute provides facilities for research leading to the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). The Ph.D. degree is awarded based on the satisfactory performance of a registered candidate in the prescribed course work, comprehensive viva, seminar, the thesis submitted by the candidate, and a final viva voce. The Ph.D. programmes in Computer Science and Engineering impart the knowledge, skills, and attitude to do world-class research in the area of computer science. Doctorate students are expected to publish their work in leading international journals and conferences about their area of research
